Light in the Abyss (March Catchall)

Who: Dainsleif and whoever.
When: Certain points in the month of March, and maybe April when applicable.
Where: Various.
What: Bloomcraft, general points of interaction, and lingering.
Warnings: Probably none for the most part, but if conversation heads somewhere where it is needed, it will be marked accordingly.

( Ooc: If there is interest in closed starters, let me know, and I will set something up. )

Scenario I. Flower of the Past; (Castle Grounds)

[ Dainsleif has needed time to keep to himself following the large celebration conducted by the kingdom, and following them, does what he does best while wandering the land:

Keep to himself, even if he may be out and about. But, the timeframe for that is short, with the arrival of the new season upon them all.

Even while the seeds continue to reach from where they have been left, finding their ways from the roots to extend towards the sky, the blond stands in direct contrast, clothing dark amongst the sea of green. In Dainsleif's hand is a pot, soil also brought.

Near him there are also two pots on a blanket.

Indeed, Dainsleif stands outside upon the lawn, dwelling within the Dawnfield Grounds, and conjures the spell, to see how he might make a flower grow expediently, experimenting with it, which...at his first time, nothing quite happens. He frowns, closely scrutinizing the pot.

But, the blond simply inclines his head if he catches someone within his sight; alas, greetings were never really his specialty, so he says nothing else for the moment. Yet, he did nod in such a way it could be construed as a silent "hello".

Then, he looks back down at the pot... ]

Scenario II. Looms (Castle Grounds);

[ Dainsleif can be found at the barracks, sitting quietly on one of the benches, still outside, perhaps nearby one of the lantern-lit paths.

He appears to be working on something, cloth in hand (perhaps something that can conceivably be made into a scarf?), magic still apparent and present at his own fingertips. There are also a various assortment of items nearby him; a list of imprintwork projects.

If someone approaches, he looks up to take pause. ]

Did you need something?

[ The greeting could have been worse, but it is something, and carries within it the distinct tone of neutrality, rather than a cold affront. ]

Scenario III. Legions (of learning) Stand Alive;

[ Once again, Dainsleif is found within Hearthsong Salon, one book nearby him, opened on a particular page. But, there is something else as well.

A canvas, as well as painting tools.

There's a lot of variances in green. And when he turns to see who enters, it is plain to see something else...somehow, he has a smudge of paint on one side of his face.

But, just as seriously, he returns to his work, and one might even be able to tell there is a spark of magic in the air. ]

Scenario IV. To the end of the road (or the beginning);

[ The hustle and bustle of people working through their daily lives is always something that can be readily apparent at a market - one might even say that this is true of other places as well.

...Either way, the fact remains is that Dainsleif needs materials. In order to do that, he must brave himself out and about in the general Rosavelle area. Such as one of those open-air markets.

The problem is that he is not able to discern which materials are of the best quality. Maybe he shouldn't be so choosy, but Dainsleif never makes decisions lightly. So, here he is, in front of a vendor, frowning.

When the vendor explains...Dainsleif's frown deepens, if only because apparently he is slow to be convinced theirs is the best, rather than offended. ]

...I'll need more time to consider this.

[ Well, this is apparently going spectacularly. ]

Scenario V. Enduring Shadows

[ Nightfall arrives like curtainfall, as it does with every single day.

But, alongside that does sleep follow soon after. Or these recent days, a lack thereof, waking up and realizing that it is simply a matter of being.

Dainsleif takes to the roofs during this time at night, as instead of the past hounding him, it's something that combines seamlessly and ever so dire with it entirely. Yet, like all things...it will not pass immediately; it is a symbol he has acclimated to this place that the main source of his tiring sources from a consistent ailment.

Until then, he spends a large amount of time up atop a roof, or otherwise to himself, imagining he might cloak himself in shadow, even if he can't hide from the torturous shades. ]

Scenario VI. Faire Preparations Committee; (Quest)

[ Dainsleif isn't wholly surprised that things are appropriately...on-brand with the land here, but he is lending a hand in the grand scheme of things. Perhaps because someone made the pleading eyes at him or he simply just stopped, and decided to pitch in, who knows.

At one point, he is seen tending to street decorations, hanging accessories needed to pretty up whatever lights are usually hanging around...flowery ones.

At another point, he's making flower crowns, and as he does so there is a sense of deja vu, but he can't remember making such things before. As such, he sighs when they manage to keep coming apart. ]
