[Well, the first thing to do in this sort of situation is to know who he'll be living with, right? Especially considering how this place doesn't make as much allowances for Pokemon. But Macy being by his side is nonnegotiable, so he'll be in the common room, with Macy sitting by his side, as he watches the other people walk by. Macy will be the one to wave people over, most likely, and it'll take a while for Nathaniel to speak up.]

Macy is going to be staying with me at all times. Some of my other Pokemon might also be out, but they're all harmless. This isn't a dealbreaker, right?

[He'll camp out in the greenhouse if he needs to.]

[Fujino's not sure what to say at first, as she leaves her room and is about to head on out for the day. Not that she's afraid (if she had to be honest, it looks kinda cute), though she does stare back for quite some time- at least until Nathaniel's voice snaps her out of it.]

Eh? Oh, um- I can't speak for the others, but I think it should be fine?

[If anything, the slight head tilt and the gleam of intrigue and awe in her eyes as she keeps her gaze on Macy just makes her real curious!]

[ Bulat is giving the big-eyed plant monster a dubious look, with the eye of someone who's fought a lot of plants. Seems like an ambush predator. An intelligent one. Its master's hard to read, being so quiet. ]

Should be fine. How many of them are smart enough to pitch in with chores?

[Nathaniel first met Macy when she was trying to eat his family's Mareep, so that's not an inaccurate assessment. It is perhaps surprising how well they get along now.]

It depends on what sort of chores. Macy, Memo, and Fran are probably the best at anything delicate, and Kate's not really the chore type unless it involves hunting pests. Macy's also got some pretty good medical knowledge, if that ends up being necessary. Belle's specialty probably isn't as helpful here, considering the state of technology I've seen. [e.g. nonexistent]

[ An equally calculating but friendlier eyeballing of those tendrils. He's making note of the medical knowledge, and considering why such a beast would have that skillset. ]

Well, what's she do at home? Dusting? I could use someone who can get under furniture, into corners, that kind of thing.

Dawnfield Grounds (all month)

[Nathaniel might only have Macy with him indoors most of the time, but a large open space with plenty of room to train? He immediately calls out his full team, a large and fierce-looking serpent with a scar across her hood, a scuttling crab with a spherical stone shell, a giant dancing pineapple, and a pair of floating lamps with one flame burning between the two of them.]

Alright everyone, let's start with the basics! We'll move on to search and rescue later!

[Anyone passing by can watch the group of differently-shaped creatures as they work surprisingly well together, running up and down the field and occasionally launching elemental attacks at targets they set up, and later on practicing tracking and carrying various bundles that seem to be stand-ins for potential disaster victims.]

[Nathaniel is drawn here the most, when he leaves the castle. He's a bit awkward about being called "Lord" by the people he meets, but he settles in fairly quickly, and can often be found whittling various things out of wood. However, when he's working on a wooden whistle, he pauses, turning it over in his hands and holding it up to his ear, before lifting it and blowing into it. Somehow, this produces two layered notes, instead of one.]
