🍲 The Forget-Me-Not Feast 🍲

HOW IT BEGINS
Not long after the end of the Hearts Aflame Faire, residents at the forget-me-not barracks are likely to have received a visit from either Cheria or Haruhi asking, more or less, three questions:

1. What's your favorite food?
2. Would you be interested in sharing it with other people?
3. Can you make it yourself?

As delicious as Rosavelle's culinary offerings have been, it'd be a shame to not also sample potentially unique dishes from the variety of worlds represented amongst the royal advisors! Not to mention that it's an easy icebreaker for both old friends and new. Plus, it's free food. How can you go wrong with that? don't accept this as a challenge

The idea is simple: characters can either prepare a favorite dish themselves or ask a more cooking-inclined character to do it for them, and either way the results are set out in the forget-me-not kitchen for everyone to partake in. Forget-me-not residents are encouraged to invite advisors from other barracks to join in. Then there's some ??? following this part of things, but either way the end result is PROFIT! ...By which I mean, People Realizing Others' Friendship (or Food) Is Terrific. Something like that.

For those who might not have an in with what is obviously the coolest club in Rosavelle or who would like to have a physical reminder to take with them, Mirabelle puts up simple but cheerfully colorful flyers near each barracks building:

CALLING ALL ROYAL ADVISORS!

Food and friendship at the forget-me-not barracks! Make your favorite dish from home to share, or enjoy someone else's! Lots of fun!

As May trudges along and the Toux Rose epidemic starts dropping advisors like plucked flower petals, the initial date on the poster is scribbled out and replaced with the final date of June 15.

HOW IT GOES DOWN

❧ Preparation

The day starts early for forget-me-not residents (or advisors from elsewhere who want to join in on this part of things) looking to whip something up! It feels like every available inch of counter and table space is taken up with all sorts of ingredients and cooking implements, some of which was acquired on a group grocery/supply run earlier in the week, and the kitchen is more crowded than usual so best be mindful of where you're swinging that knife. Whether you're a seasoned chef or fresh meat (figuratively), you're welcome here if you're willing to learn (or to be the clean-up crew!).

❧ Mealtime

As the afternoon rolls around, more and more dishes are placed out for final consumption, likely coinciding with when most guests begin to trickle in. Either way, Infusery charms keep things either fresh and hot or refreshingly cool as required for each individual dish. As for what's available, take your pick of flavors: sweet, savory, salty, starchy, spicy, or some mixture of these — there's bound to be something here for everyone! Get some dinner in, go straight for dessert, or settle for an hors d'oeuvre.

The overall atmosphere is notably cozy and casual, as if you were just invited to hang at a friend's place for the day. (Because basically you were.) Accordingly, there's not too much in the way of party decor — perhaps more fresh cut flowers than usual and a few lace table runners here and there to provide some pep courtesy of Cheria, maybe some minor contributions from other forget-me-not residents. However, there are signs out front announcing the feast just to make sure guests can find their way.

❧ Entertainment

There aren't any formal plans for entertainment aside from chilling with one's peeps! However, if someone feels inspired or encouraged to break out some songs, jokes, or stories, they're definitely welcome to share. Consider the vibe akin to an open mic night.
